Fill out the online registration form to
become associated, or read about the types of
membership available.
Sustaining
Users
- You may incorporate the OpenDB libraries in products, which are
sold or distributed, outside your organization (commercial use).
- You may use the "Includes OpenDB Ontology" logo on your product
packaging and marketing materials.
- Your company's name and logo will be listed on the OpenDB Users
Group Web site and in any other promotional materials the User Group
develops.
- Descriptions of your company's product(s) will be listed in the
products showcase section of the OpenDB Users Group Web site.
Requirements
- You agree with the principles of the OpenDB Users Group.
- You acknowledge that the intent of the Group is to promote the
OpenDB database structure concept and structure as an open,
industry-standard structure , and that the Users Group does so by
obtaining and sharing information about the OpenDB Ontology. You
also agree to disclose all knowledge you have about changes,
corrections, or clarifications to the OpenDB Structure Ontology and
to the OpenDB PublicPIM software, plus all other knowledge you have
regarding the structure Ontology of OpenDB files read and written by
your database products. (You are exempt from disclosure if doing so
would violate a statute or contractual requirement entered in good
faith.) Finally, you grant the Users Group a nonexclusive, fully
paid, irrevocable, royalty-free licenses to publish and use all
information and materials you disclose.
- The OpenDB Users Group accepts your registration.

Application
- Fill out the online survey
form. This will allow you to immediately download the OpenDB
libraries available to all users. A User Group representative will
contact you regarding agreements as Sustaining Users.
