1. Contact your website host for the following
information. Parameters you will need for scripts are marked in red.
a. Type of server used determines FTP upload
folder
application folder will reside.
1. Linux public_html
2. Windows http docs b. Insure that PHP and MySQL extensions are
available on the server.
c. Determine hostname
for any MySQL databases
you create.
d. Establish Username and Password that give
you (read/write) privileges to your
database.
2. Contact Google for account and Maps API key
a. To sign up for account (popup)
Logon to: https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount to fill out and execute the New Account Form
b. Sign in to your new Google Account
Logon to: http://www.google.com
and click on Sign in at top
right of screen to Sign in to Google (popup)
c. To obtain a free Google map API key
Logon to: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html to fill outkey generation form. (popup) fill in
your website url
and click on Generate API key
